Interpretive
Every week I volunteer about 6 hours and I wrote what what I did in my literal.
Applied
Volunteering has given me an insight in nephrology nursing. I got to spend time working with the nurses are learning about their daily routine in the clinic. This lead me to my answer of mantaining relationships wth your patients. As a nephrology nurse, I learned that you spend a lot of time working with your pateints; days, weeks, years you name it. And if you dont have a good relationship it could put the patient in danger. Most patients feel lonely during the treatment and if they see a friendly face it gets them up and moving again.
